I’ve adored and cherished most of the moments I made in my previous school. I love the school environment, and from time to time, I do miss my friendships from last year. This year was certainly not it. I didn’t have many people by my side when I was experiencing bullying. I have suffered and lived a living nightmare, and i’m fortunate to be transferred to another school despite all this. It’s not easy to move on, especially if you dislike change. Since I’m switching schools, I was hoping to get some advice. I’ve been through so much and frequently get anxious when interacting with others. I also overthink and don’t have the best social skills to get along with others quickly. I don’t want to have a tough time in a new school. Any tips? I want to start afresh, as well as boost my self-esteem and conversation skills. Not to mention, a couple of kids from this school I’ve known from the past disliked me. It’s going to be awkward. How do I become well-liked by people?

  1. Embrace your weirdness. They can’t pick on you for being different, if you’re the one in charge of and celebrating your differences.
