Who pays, server edition

I went out to dinner with my boyfriend of 7 months last night and he usually expects to pay but I grab the check half the time. It’s just fair to me

The server put the check on his corner of the table and looked at him and said I’ll come back when you’re ready. I grabbed it and put my card down (buffalo bills logo on it) and when she brought it back she gave it to him again hahaha

I just thought yous guys would appreciate that 🙂
