So I (M24) and the person (F22) went on our first date and it was fun! We both agreed to take it slow, but she didn’t rule anything out. It started a little awkwardly but it smoothed out as it went along. I told her I had a great time and hoped to do it again. She in person agreed she had fun. So now what? I’m thinking about waiting a couple days (2) to propose another date later down the month. Any other ideas?

  1. nah, talk to her every couple days and ask how she’s doing and yeah lay it on the table when the next time you can see her is, goodluck

  2. Try not to book a date more than a couple of days ahead of time (too much time can lead to second thoughts, distractions intervening).

  3. Shoot her a text sooner rather than later. Let her know you had a great time. If you live in close proximity and can see each other easily ask her out for out for second date for sometime in the next week or so. A month is too long. Important to let her know you’re interested.

  4. Or text her again tonight. If she’s as interested as you, she’ll be watching her phone waiting for you to text

  5. I’m a girl…if a guy waits too long to set up the next date, then I assume he’s not that interested or just wants something casual and I write him the “I had fun but I’m looking for something more – have a nice life” text.
