This is a repost because I didnt get any responses from r/STD.
So a few weeks ago I tested positive for Trichomoniasis. I did a urine test on a Friday and my results came back on the following Tuesday. The Doctor gave me four 500mg pills of Metronidazole (2 grams total).
Well some days passed, the burning, itching, redness, bleeding, all subsided and eventually stopped completely. I was relieved and thankful. But the thing is, even though all the severe symptoms have passed, its formed into a puffy cyst right below the tip of my penis on the foreskin, that i believe is healing, but at a very slow rate than it should. I haven’t went back to get a follow up test yet but I’m thinking about it.
Any men out there had a similar issue?
