I am coming from a 10 year career in the Luxury Fashion sector and would like to working in tech. However, I have been offered an opportunity to work as a junior broker as I have just quit my previous job (wanting to take a year off and re-skill). I am worried that I could turn down a solid opportunity to learn something many people do not have the privilege of learning…. or am I just wasting my time?
For context, I am a 32 yo male living in London and in a LDR with my partner who is abroad (EU).

Yes, the contacts you will build up in that role could be helpful in any number of roles in the future.
Just be prepared to be the butt of a lot of jokes and pranks, and try to look after your liver!
