So I wished a friend happy birthday who I haven’t talked in a while and she asked how was I doing and how it felt going back home for vacation but the thing is the texts felt dry af and we textwd like once a day for past 3 days lol. I haven’t opened her happy new year message yet but honestly I’m probably going to say thanks and end it there. Should I?

Yes say something. Only a coward ghosts or ignores a human. It’s the most hurtful thing you can do to a human.
Just say thanks and happy new year. If you’re not attracted and it seems like you dont care about continuing the conversation or staying friends. Just have decency and say “thanks. happy new years.”
