    As far as making one, a bit more goes into it than you would imagine. Doors don’t work as well as you’d think because they are hollow. Even exterior doors tend to be hollow and filled with foam insulation. Plywood works really well but can be extremely unwieldy to store and move around. If using something wood, the hole needs to be lined with something to smooth out the edges to prevent cuts.
