Does anti dandruff shampoo cause hair damage when used regularly?

1. My girlfriend assures me that head and shoulders makes the problem worse and had me switch away from it. I wouldn’t say that it fixed my problem but going from HnS anti-dandruff to just some regular stuff and seeing no change speaks volumes about HnS in my opinion

2. You need to be using other products in tandem

3. Try vosene dude. You want an anti dandruff shampoo. Head and shoulders is shit.

4. Don’t use H&S!

5. I dunno. I use head and shoulders or an off-brand version daily. Have not had any dandruff since and never noticed any side effects in the 20 years I’ve been using it.

   I would also recommend drinking a pile of water throughout the day every day.

   Use conditioner every time you wash your hair as well to keep the hair healthy.

6. Get a normal anti dandruff shampoo. Any that contains ketoconazole is going to work.
   HnS is an awful shampoo, it makes your hair and skin extremely dry that worsens the dandruff or even causes it (in my case)
