How to get people excited and get them to work towards the same goal?

Hi, everyone. I am working toward a goal that I would like to achieve and I think I will need a team. So the question is, how do I get others excited and get them to join me to achieve the same goal?

Tell me if I’m wrong here. A few things I think I know are, to show their self-interest in achieving the goal, to make them realize that it is something bigger than themselves, and give them a chance to be a part of it, etc.

Also, How do I not scare them away with my ambitions? One answer can be to hire ambitious people in a team.

And, How to keep them motivated and inspired until the goal is achieved?

I feel like it’s more like a leadership skill, let me know if it’s the wrong subreddit for the question.
