I don’t want to go by stereotype version of American breakfast, so what do you all eat for breakfast on daily basis?

  1. On a daily basis? I don’t eat breakfast. It’s something I may do on the weekends every once in a while.

  2. Everyday? I don’t.

Some days? Coffee or espresso that I make. Sometimes it’s cappuccino or mocha etc. Again, this all depends.

Other days? Bagel, croissant, cereal, oatmeal, fruit + toast, “eggs,” “bacon,” “sausage” (all fake ofc), sometimes I eat leftover banchan I made of korean dishes during the night with rice and miso etc.

    It all depends.

My most elaborate breakfasts happen during weekends, and then only sometimes. I prefer to sleep-in.

  3. grits, eggs (scrambled or fried), hash browns, coffee, sausage links, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, and waffles are all common breakfast foods.

weekdays have a lot of americans skipping a traditional meal or breakfast all together.
you’d likely only have a large meal on the weekends, or on holiday if you’re doing stuff like johnny harris claims we eat everyday

  4. After coffee it’s a crap shoot. I might scramble some eggs with sausage and cheese for a breakfast burrito or make sausage gravy and biscuits for us. Yesterday my wife ate egg and cheese with sausage on toast and I ate leftovers(Szechuan chicken with rice and lo mein)

  5. Iced americano and a banana usually. A donut if it’s free at the office lol.

On the weekends, I’ll make pancakes and bacon or we’ll go out for brunch and I’ll order eggs Benedict.

  6. I don’t eat breakfast, per se. I have a double shot iced latte that I make here at home every morning. Food doesn’t really interest me til a handful of hours after I’ve woken up.

  7. I generally don’t eat breakfast at all.

When I do, maybe once every few months, it’s usually eggs and sausages.

  8. Daily? Generally nothing but some juice or maybe some yogurt if I don’t have coffee ready. Never been a big breakfast person.

But once every few weeks I’m down to get some eggs, bacon, toast, and OJ at a diner or something. Every few weekends I might get inspired to make scrambled eggs with cheese, onion, and peppers and anything else I need to start eating before it goes bad. Maybe make some tacos out of it

Even the big breakfast eaters I know generally eat something similarly light unless its going out with friends or whatever.

  9. I’m really surprised how many people answer that they dom’t eat breakfast.

I usually have bowl of cold cereal with some fruit on top and a cuo of black coffee.

On weekends, usually pancakes or waffles, or eggs with an English muffin, toast or a bagel.

    Really, no breakfast guys?

  10. I don’t eat a meal I’d call breakfast. After I take my first break at work I usually have a bowl of fruit as a snack.

  11. I don’t eat breakfast, but around 2 or 3 I usually get lunch at work, which thanks to COVID-19 is now limited to Carl’s Jr. or Subway since I won’t touch El Pollo Loco with a stolen pole.

  12. Couple of egg biscuits some mornings, pancakes/waffles & bacon others. I prefer a big breakfast and skimp on lunch.

  13. I have a protein shake with fruit and tea. Sometimes I have toast with peanut butter and honey.

  14. I usually don’t eat breakfast, but if I do it will be something quick. A granola bar or cereal. I will occasionally get a sausage, egg, and cheese if I stop somewhere.

Sitting down to eat breakfast is not something I really do, some weekends I’ll make pancakes, or will go out for pancakes (but this usually isn’t breakfast, this is just me going out for pancakes, lol.)

  15. Kefir, pistachios, espresso

But as said by many other commenters, the US broadly doesn’t take breakfast (or mornings) that seriously. Compared to a lot of our western counterparts (particularly southern europe & latin america) we generally start & end work earlier; leisure time is almost all after work.

  16. I am a creature of habit so every work morning I have an egg on pita with a cup of cinnamon tea. On my off days I usually have a bagel with cream cheese and tea.

  17. Sunbutter on toast or a frozen waffle. Edit: on the weekends, often we make pancakes and eggs.

  18. Usually yogurt or fresh fruit. But I can’t eat until I’ve been awake a few hours so it’s usually just something small to get me to lunch

  19. I usually eat eggs almost every morning, but it’s nothing huge and crazy. It’s just on toast or scrambled up with veggies in a wrap. I like the protein and I’ll honestly be hungry and snacking ALL day if I skip or just have carbs (I.e., pancakes).

  20. I’m usually not hungry in the morning and it’s usually at least 3 hours before I’m even starting to get hungry after I wake up in the morning. By then, I’m at work and I eat a banana or a small snack or something to hold me off until lunch. Lol

  21. I make a vegetable hash with sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, onions and bell peppers. I keep it in the fridge and warm up a portion in the mornings while I fry an egg. Sometimes I have a piece of bacon too.

  22. I always have coffee. Often times I skip. Often times I only have an apple or a banana. Occasionally I will have an omelette. Weekends I may cook a big breakfast like pancakes, waffles, or an egg scramble with a side of sausage or bacon.

  23. Typical items for me are cereal, yogurt, banana, cantaloupe, PB&J sandwich, oatmeal, Pop Tart, eggs, pancakes, French toast, regular toast, waffles, sausage, tamago kake gohan, OJ, tea, fried rice, avocado, cottage cheese, pão de queijo, tapioca.

  24. I have chickens so I eat a lot of eggs

Daily is 2 to 3 eggs, 2 to 3 sausage patties sometimes turkey sometimes pork, and a small amount of shredded cheese over the eggs.

  25. I have to eat breakfast otherwise I’ll faint by lunch! This morning it was a small bowl of cheese grits and Greek yogurt. Lots of drip coffee practically injected into my veins. Bagels, cereal, toast, day old baguette, pastries with yogurt or fruit is typical. Although I’m hungry in the morning I can’t do anything heavy or protein-rich because it makes me nauseous. Eggs on the weekend.
