Has anyone tried speed dating? I (27f) signed up for a speed dating event, but now I’m too scared to go! I’m pretty shy so I find dating/flirting hard.

If you’ve tried it can you share your experience with me? Like do decent people go to these types of events.

  1. typically it’s for shy people, or those interested in shy people

    are there age categories? (often it’s segregated by broad age groupings)

    have a list of questions on hand, eg. “What do you hope to get out of this speed dating experience?”

  2. No, but if you aren’t confident at dating and are a bit shy it’s a great way to practice your social skills
