so i made plans with my friend for after school and our plan was to sit down somewhere and talk. he has a crush who’s been kind of a jerk so we were going to talk abt the crush and other stuff! i rejected other plans that came after him and i agreed because we alr confirmed. our last class is shared so once it ended, we walked out and began making our way to sit at a cafe. we were just a few min away from the school before his friend (whom i’m friends w but like def not as close with) and the friend is saying how she’s with his crush rn. once my friend hung up, he asked if he could go rq to see them just to say hi and that he’s sorry to leave me. and i asked if i could just come along since it’ll only take a few min and we were about to hang out and i don’t want to just stand in the middle of the sidewalk waiting yk. he says sure and asked to run there but i was abt to text my other friend abt smth so i told him he can run and i’ll just walk there and meet him there. he says okay and begins to run while i walk. once i’m close to the school, i call him, asking exactly where they’re meeting and whether he’s there yet, and he says he’s about to be there and tells me the location. we stay on the phone and a few sec later he tells me that his friend and the crush were abt to hang out and they invited him. he asked if we could reschedule and he’s so sorry for how last min this is and says we should reschedule. i say okay but im so annoyed !! who does that! i get that you have a crush but like are you seriously going to cancel plans and leave me like an idiot just to hang out w your crush ughhh. how do i deal with this effectively? i don’t want him to be upset that im upset but also like idk i feel like im rightfully annoyed. idk how to address this with him or even whether it’s worthwhile to address it. any tips?
