Is there something special about that particular car that makes you attached to it?

  1. Three weeks ago my Bronco was finally delivered after waiting 620 from the day we placed the order. Definitely in the wrong timeline to buy a gas guzzling suv, but I don’t drive much. Now if it would just warm up so I can take the damn top off!

  2. 2019 Subaru Outback. It’s good, but with the price of gas and the fact I drive down to see my partner at least once a month has me looking into purchasing an electric car.

  3. 2014 Corolla my first car. Barely have to do anything with it. Low mileage, pretty fast, small. I just hate the fact that it’s white. So my seats get dirty easily.

  4. 2016 Toyota Sienna. My grandma -mobile, and great for hauling stuff.

It’s extremely comfortable for travel and daily driver. Has lots of places for my stuff and killer cupholders. I have the XLE trim level with leather seats. All the trim levels have tons of airbags, side and rear collision warning, and great backup cameras. I love the power rear hatch.

Very dependable, never has a mechanical issue at all.

  5. 2013 Nissan Altima. Had it a little over a year and yes it is good. Not amazing but….good. I don’t regret the purchase.

  6. 2017 Honda Fit. It’s great on gas, hits turns so smoothly, and is surprisingly good for camping and driving in the snow.

  7. 2011 ford escape and to be frank; No its not. It is literally a death box on wheels ready to cause an accident at any given moment

  8. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I have a love hate relationship with it. But I think I’m just going to summarize it as fuck Jeep.

  9. 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. My partner drives a 2020 Mazda CX-5. I would say the CX-5 is a little more comfortable but I have a much better infotainment system. The Mazda’s is slow and buggy at times but mine is quick and reliable. It sounds like a little thing to care about, I’m sure, but I drive a lot and having a good infotainment system is important to me.

  10. 2017 Golf R. It’s been reliable and I love it. Also, it’s really fast and I plan to take it to the track!

  11. I have a 2014 Toyota Corolla, which was my mom’s car before she passed. So, there’s that. It’s also completely paid for and cheap to maintain, which is nice as well.

I know it’s kind of a boring car, but I guess that fits me, haha.

  12. 2000 Honda Civic. If I knew more about cars I could drive in to 300k miles but since I don’t, she’ll probably leave me before 200k. She’s a good baby and I love her.

  13. VW ID 3 electric. Very comfortable and easy to drive, spacious. The range is only 350km though, but if you can easily charge and don’t plan on using it for long trips, it’s quite OK.

  14. 2003 VW Jetta VR6 6 speed. Yes its good but you have to keep up with the maintenance but it’s worth it! It’s fun to drive. I also modded it. Lowered, exhaust(that VR6 exhaust note), Euro spec cosmetic stuff on it.

Edit: Yes, I am attached to it.

Also have an Audi S5, stock though.

  15. 2019 Subaru Impreza. I love this car and is so much fun to drive. I’m also a lot more confident driving in Canadian winters now that I have the awd.

  16. 2011 Nissan Micra, my first car that I bought in February. I love it because its so economical on fuel (I only fill up once a month for my commute) and because its so tiny so I can get in lots of spaces that other cars could not.

  17. My car is an 08 Corolla and I am very attached to it. It’s the first thing I ever bought myself and I spent on it brand new because I was told it would last so I’m attached and making it last.

  18. I needed to buy a new car last year, I have a 2022 Kia seltos. Whatever the 2nd highest trim package is. I love it, its good on gas, has a lot of cool features, has a great warranty, and is super cute.

  19. 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Altitude Edition.
It’s always been my dream truck! I love it so much!! It’s comfortable and spacious and low maintenance!

Love this question, what a fun thread!

  20. 2020 Buick Enclave. I love it!!! Decent gas mileage and room to be the mom taxi and take my big ass dogs places.

  21. Audi RS6. It’s amazing. It’s practical but also so much fun to drive. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned.

  22. 2021 Tesla Model 3 long range. I have a long commute and it genuinely makes me a happier person.

Plus it’s red and really fast.

  23. I’m driving a 2002 Honda Odyssey my parents handed down to me a few years back. However, due to the precious cargo it transports (I have 2 young kids), we’ll be upgrading for safety reasons sometime in the next few weeks. It’s still a great car (super comfortable with LOADS of storage) and is safe, but vehicular safety has improved a lot in the past 20+ years that it’s been in my family.

For what we’re upgrading to, we’re pretty set on a Kia Telluride S and we’ll probably be ordering it within the month.

  24. I have a 2014 Hyundai elantra hatchback. I love my car. It’s got great safety ratings, it’s comfortable, it’s cute, it has a horn that actually sounds like it means business.

The gas mileage isn’t that great (~27mpg) but I only put about 6000 miles on it a year so it’s not so bad. I also wish the hatchback was less rounded on the edges because it does kind of reduce the storage capacity…

Plus I love my heated seats 🥰 I know it’s not unique to my car but it’s a feature I never thought I’d use seeing as I live in Florida, but I use it all the time.

It was also the first car I ever bought brand new off the lot! She had 17 miles on her when I bought it.

  25. An old mazda and it’s my first car so you bet it’s special. I’ll keep it alive as long as I can!

  26. I have a Ford Fiesta. It’s alright. Nothing to write home about, but it gets me from point a to b and in the 10 years I’ve had it now it needed very little repairs.

  27. 2020 Dodge Challenger GT/SXT. I use it as my daily year round. It handle’s the Canadian winter road’s like a champ.

  28. 2012 Hyundai Elantra, 6-speed manual. This is my second Elantra, my last one only conked out around 265k. I am horrible at maintaining my vehicles… I try. But both these cars survived with very minimal upkeep and always late oil changes.

I’m going to be upgrading this summer, and looking at either hybrid or electric. I love small cars, but with two golden retrievers and two kids, it’s getting pretty tight.

  29. 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT- My girl is holding up well. Pre-COVID I wasn’t driving much and now since I’ve been working remotely I drive even less. I fill up with gas once a month. I am not at 30,000 miles yet so I hope to have many more years with her.

  30. 2014 Honda Civic. I’m not a car person at all, but I like mine a lot. It’s simple, basic, and will last forever. I bought it new and it’s had no issues so far.

  31. Currently a 2012 ford expedition. I love this thing like no other! The room, the style, the ride… I have the hydraulic running boards that come out when you open the door – my favorite part as I am not a tall person. 😜

  32. Silver 2008 Toyota Yaris. Probably the most reliable car out of everyone at my house lmaoo

  33. 2019 Ford Escape. Saw the first commenter hates theirs, but I love mine. Decent gas mileage, comfortable seats, roomy but not too bulky for my liking. Feels much more solid and safer than any of my previous cars. I like that it is lifted a bit so I don’t have to worry about road alligators and such. My SIL has an older Escape and likes hers too.

  34. 2017 Honda Civic sport hatchback touring edition and it is my favorite thing in the world!!!! Not only does it look amazing, it’s fast, good on gas, and will last me forever as long as I take care of it 🙂

  35. 2022 Honda Civic Sport. I am really enjoying this vehicle. very roomy, super good on gas. comfortable to drive on long trips. highly recommend

  36. 2014 Toyota Camry and it’s very reliable. I have an attachment to it because my late stepdad bought for me when I moved back home for college. I love it.

  37. 2005 Subaru Outback. Love it for how well it drives in snow, and it lets me get onto some dirt roads that other station wagons wouldn’t be able to handle. Also has some minor hail damage so I got it cheaper than it would have otherwise been.

Edit: also it’s large enough to fit a bike or a dog or two in the back when needed.

  38. Don’t laugh… but I’m driving a 2005 teal VW Beetle convertible. I love driving with the top down and I love that it’s old school.. like me, haha.
    Edit: typo

  39. 2012 VW Touareg. Easy to drive, updated, spacious, and can tow 7700 lbs 😉

  40. 2013 VW Jetta
This is my second one… I totaled the first one and was shocked I made it out alive. They are built strong and come with many amazing features. On top of that they look great too.

  41. 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. I love my car so much! It’s so cute and it was a cheap car. I got a great deal
