When did you realize you’re really not that bad and you’re just too hard on yourself?

  1. From a post here a while ago. “If you had a friend that spoke to you like you speak to yourself, how long would they be your friend?”

  2. When I realized all the negative feelings I had about myself were all coming from my internal thoughts and every actual interaction I had in the real world pointed to me being the opposite of how I felt about myself. I’m still working on it, but I realized that when I thought people secretly found my boring and annoying it was actually my own feelings about myself that I projected onto others’ thoughts about me. I’m working on seeing myself how other people see me.

  3. After getting a job. Jesus Christ, school gaslights you on how hard things are. The most challenging part of my job is not getting bored
