I (24F) have been FWB with this guy (25M) for a few months. The sex itself is amazing, but it always starts the same: we’re watching something on a bed, we start making out, I climb on/straddle his lap to keep making out, sex starts.
This is fine, but I feel like I’m the one always initiating by climbing on his lap, and some variety would be nice. What are some other fun ways to get it started? How can I get him to take control? Thanks!

Talk to him about it. I’ve never had a partner who wasn’t willing to switch it up if I needed variety.

Have you ever tried while you’re making out just pulling him on top of you? Might help him to get the hint…
As long as you keep initiating…why would he ?
Maybe for once try and wait for him to come after you.
Tell him (with a big smile) that to mix things up tonight you’re going to not do anything until he starts the fun by starting to touch and explore you, that he needs to be the leader of the band for a change. Tell him you’ll be waiting for him to show you his A game. 🙂 Frame it as just good fun and your wanting to mix things up a bit rather than having it come across as criticism.

Many people fall into a routine, usually they find what works they stick with it. He is following your lead and thinks your both happy. Talk about it or go with a change in bed
Wait for him to start. If he doesn’t catch on after an hour or so longer than usual then ask him to either rub you or go down on you.
Locations, if its always in the bed, what about the living room or couch. Has it been in every other room of the house? What about the car? outside activities such as the beach or park? Have you been caught in public yet?
