A massive amount of money
Marrying Lord (or possibly Lady) Danbury, presumably. I’m not certain how the British gentry handles titles and same sex marriage, but it might be a fun rabbithole to explore…

I guess don’t give a fuck what men may think of you.
Money. I’m already a nosy asshole with zero fucks to give, I just need the money to make it socially acceptable to meddle.
I think just weathering many seasons of life. Eventually you give fewer fucks simple because you have seen worse.
In the books Lady Danbury is almost unnecessarily, albeit comically mean and just doesn’t care to be polite in polite society anymore. TV show lady D still cares about the people around her. I like the book version better lol
A good income, good sense and a backbone.
I think knowing your worth and standing up for yourself. Being able to set boundaries and speaking your mind in a respectful way. I think she cares about other people and is loving and generous, but not at the expense of herself.
I also must add that I told my boyfriend I want to be like lady Danbury and he told me I just need to age.. Apparently I’m nosy, loud and very clear about what I want.
A lot of money and a drop in IQ.
