Now it’s getting warmer and sunnier, it’s time for skin protection, what do you call it?

I call it suntan cream, but got mates from same area a who call it the other two.

  1. Use either suncream or sunblock myself, suntan cream feels like to many syllables

  2. Sun cream for the regular stuff, sunblock for anything over factor 50 (eg. 50+). I get a couple of bottles of the all day 50 stuff (soltan play last year) to make sure I can apply sun cream before school and it lasts all day (daughters school don’t allow it in). Haven’t decided what I’ll get this year yet.

  3. Sunscreen, my parents call it sun tan lotion which doesn’t really make sense

  4. Suncream because it is cream to stop the harmful effects of the sun, without entirely blocking it like sunblock suggests. And it’s also not used just to get a tan, so not suntan cream.

  5. Sun cream…which you should wear all year round on your face, not just when it gets warmer.

  6. Sunblock I think of the thick, white or black stuff. Like what cricketers or American footballers stick on their cheeks. Sun*tan* cream, is that the stuff that is like factor 7 that people use to get a tan? Suncream is the normal stuff you rub in.
