I’ve been enjoying Star Talk lately. I’d recommend it. It’s got interesting topics surrounding space and the universe and such.
Forehead Fables
Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me on NPR is a hoot.
Definitely check out Bill’s Burr’s podcast. If you’re not familiar with him, he’s an incredibly funny guy, and he talks a lot about guy stuff.
Stiff Socks. It’s with Trevor Wallace and Micheal Blaustein, who are both stand-up comedians. Hilarious!
The Bugle, Art of Manliness, The Red Line, Conflicted, 99 percent invisible. The Red Line and Conflicted are geopolitics/history related. The Bugle usually involves comedic banter that’s UK based but they also branch out. Art of Manliness has interesting interviews about history, exercise, philosophy, travel, other topics. 99 percent invisible mentions random but interesting stories about cities and design.
The Daily and FiveThirtyEight. I think most podcasts aimed towards men specifically are dumb. Current events are very important, especially when the medium is thoughtful commentary and discourse. I try to listen to a handful of episodes every week. It was easier when I was commuting every day and could listen then, but now with WFH I mostly just throw this on on my way to the gym and then finish the episode while showering later.
If you like philosophy, the history of philosophy without any gaps is great. It covers pretty much all the philosophers starting from the ancient greeks going all thr way up to the modern day.
The Joe Rogan Experience and Barstools Pardon My Take.
DoughBoys. It’s a podcast about chain restaurants. It’s stupid and fun. Great light listening.
Revolutions, if you like history. Start with season 3 and then 4 for the French and Haitian revolutions and have your mind blown if you don’t know the period already.
Ron Burgundy, JoeRogan and a shitton of CreepyPastas I’m too lazy to check for ya

The Huberman Podcast, Making Sense with Sam Harris, Jordan Peterson’s old stuff (like Maps of Meaning lectures), the Psychology Podcast, Forward, Jocko Willink’s podcast, and I’d occasionally check out Joe Rogan and the School of Greatness to see if there are any interesting people stopping by.
I can’t stand podcasts
Had nothing to do with being a man. Depends on your interests.
The Last Podcast on the Left is awesome if you like truecrime and spooky/weird stuff in general.
The Markiplier Distractible podcast was pretty entertaining.
The Ringer Podcast Network has a variety of podcasts focused on sports, film, and television. Both my husband and I listen religiously.
Daddy Issues. Fathers who are also professional comics. Talking fatherhood, it’s fun and you learn a bit from older dads.
None. Most podcasts are complete bs made by people who have too much love for their own voice and too little sense.
