Why do people expect others to be nice to them when they talk to them disrespectfully?

1. Probably because they don’t realise they’re being disrespectful. We’re not in Victorian England times anymore. There’s no rule books on etiquette and good manners. Everyone has different idea on proper ways of addressing others and communicating.
