What about is it about the new year that makes guys want to circular back?

Nine days into the new year and three guys I haven’t talked to in a couple months decided to text me. One I barley talked to for a week. Another I went on a date with and was talking to either via text or phone call every day for a month but then stop communicating for a month. And another. And they all just started conversing with me like not time had lapse. I had to ask one guy “genuinely curious as you why you are texting me all of a sudden” he didn’t reply and stopped. But I really wanted to know.
