I’m (F19) currently in college with my boyfriend(M21) of just under a year. Recently I was placed in a room with a new roommate who happened to be his ex girlfriend (F20). We are actually becoming pretty good friends but always have the elephant in the room which is my boyfriend (who we haven’t brought up). I normally tell my bf everything (including my friends and who I hangout with) but he thinks it’s weird to talk to him about his ex. Should I bring it up to her somehow? It’s just an awkward situation that puts me in the middle and idk how to deal with it. (Ps it’s nearly impossible to switch roommates)
Tl;dr My boyfriends ex is my new college roommate and it is weird for all of us.

Why hide it from her? Does his ex have a common name? Maybe it’s just a girl with the same name. I went to school with 6 Jason Kinsleys.
