So I only really wear plain t shirts, typically black or grey, and that’s find by me. I lack style and its okay.
However everywhere I go, the t shirts seem to be declining in quality. I’ve gone from the places like Topman, over to Burton, H&M and I’ve bought my recent batch from M&S, assuming they would be decent quality, but they all start falling apart after a few months.
Does anyone know where I can get a good batch of T shirts that will last?
Bonus points if they are heavyweight too!

What’s your budget?
My go-to is [Rapanui](https://rapanuiclothing.com). Ethical and sustainable clothing, and once it’s worn out, you can return it to them and they’ll turn it into something else.
Rapanui have been my go to for a while. 5 plain coloured (no branding) t-shirts for £38, or 7 for £50.
I buy my plain T-Shirts from Next. Every six months or so I pop in and buy a number of plain White, Blue, Gray and Green crew necks. They’re comfortable, fit well and have never ‘fallen apart’.

Do Gildan have a t-shirt for you! I get them from Amazon, there’s like 30+ colours, typical cost is about £4.50. GD05 type is the heaviest and hardest wearing.
John Lewis 5 white 5 black

My go to is Uniqlo or for cheaper mandmdirect for different brands
Ted Baker does some nice ones. the material is silky smooth and it fits rather well. I bought them from amazon
Uniqlo is my go to for a lot of my casual wear.

Do you have enough t-shirts in rotation so you aren’t constantly wearing and washing the same few?
Zara seem to be good, though I notice the quality of clothes sold in Zara in Ibiza (presumably the same for all of Spain) is better than their stores in the UK. They are Spanish I suppose.
They also have Zara Home over there, which is like a cross between Ikea and John Lewis in terms of quality and price.
Gildan. fruit of the loom are shit
Fruit on the loom or sumin, they make great t-shirt that are super affordable. There what alot of t-shirt printers use as the base
Land’s End are really good.
Time to blow my own trumpet (or in other words, use my own website please!) – [https://www.waltersonline.co.uk/shop/t-shirts/plain-t-shirts](https://www.waltersonline.co.uk/shop/t-shirts/plain-t-shirts)
Order before end of month and you’ll get 50% off with checkout code 50OFF…
Uniqlo are pretty good
They’re not entirely plain, they have a little embroidered stag on the breast but Next do really good quality t-shirts in all sizes. They’re my go-to at the moment. Wash really well, don’t fade and fit nicely.
Uniqlo are decent, couple different cuts to choose from.
I really like KAM, high quality and durable in a very large sizing range and also multiple lengths.

Charles Wilson on Amazon are comfortable, hard wearing and around £36 for 5.
Uni qlo have some very nice ones
Can’t go wrong with some plain black and white Valentino t-shirts, I normally grab several of each once a year and they last.
Switched to Uniqlo earlier last year and haven’t looked back
I’m obsessed with Burtons v-neck t shirts atm. Think its 3 for £15.
Merz B Schwanen is my go to for high quality basics!
Amazing quality, made in Germany using vintage circular machines so there’s no side-seams.
Rag & Bone make high quality basics too.
I just want ones that don’t constantly leave huge swathes of fibres everywhere
Zara isn’t too bad, but it’s still in the realm of low-quality, high-street, fast fashion, which is 90% of stuff these days… unfortunately.
