What does it mean when a group of guys from your new class catches up to you walking when the class is finished but they don’t directly talk to you… they just walk with you and talk to each other until you wonder off to the buss and they continue walking and talking. I’m confused with if I just accidentally ended up in their group walk or if they tried to catch up and include me, I don’t want to seem rude or something if it happens again and if it’s sort of intentional

Don’t read into it. You have little info to go on. Next time maybe give them a “What’s up?” nod or actually say “What’s up? You guys walking me home?” Just kidding. Give some acknowledgement at least and say “What’s up guys?” If they don’t say anything or ignore you, shrug your shoulders and keep walking. Or you can be a little more forceful, break into their conversation, ask them what’s so interesting, and make yourself heard.
Sounds like they were trying to include you without directly forcing conversation. They may have been feeling you out, or just wanted to be nice. They may have noticed youre introverted and just let you be in your zone. Not much to go on, but it opens the door to chat if you see them again.
