Today’s the first day of the second semester and Im already nervous thinking about it. With a new semester comes new classes and meeting new people. For me it’s always the hardest part trying to talk to people and make conversation. I just want to be better at making friends or just talking. Any advice?

One of the best ways to get to know people is to be the one to make the group chat first. That way you can talk to people who share some interests if you are in the same classes and talk about assignments and study together. Other than that just saying hi and getting to know someone. Often times people are in the same position as you so you’d be doing them a favor to strike up conversation. Just look at shoes, hair, outfits, bags, stickers, water bottles or anything you find interesting and talk to them about it, they would probably love to explain.
