The crazier the flavours the better. It can be a physical shop or online. Thanks!

  2. Thing with real ale is that they don’t make the bizarre ones that often. They only make small batches, often for beer festivals or certain times of year. Osset Brewery sometimes make a Refreshers flavoured ale, and there is a brewery in Keighley called Wishbone that do a red jalapeno beer. There is one that makes an ale with Tequila but cannot remember their name.

Not real ale, but Vocation always have some flavoured ones.

Northern Monk do random shit too, like collabs with Aunt Bessies and Seabrooks crisps.

Tiny Rebel have some weird one with energy drinks at the moment.

  3. Sounds like you want “Craft Beer” rather than “Real ale”, which tends to be more traditional.

Pressure Drop Brewery are one of my favourites. You can buy direct and they deliver, free if you buy more than a certain amount.

What they brew changes all the time, so you need to check the website, but they nor ally have some fairly crazy things going on like fruit sours, toffee stouts, etc.

If you are near London and wanted to visit, their brewery, bar, and shop in Tottenham is literally round the corner on the same industrial estate as Beavertown Brewery, which has some weird stuff too, so you can make a mini pub crawl out of it.

  4. Brew Dog used to do a wasabi flavoured beer that smelled and tasted like how rotting teeth/bad breath smells like.

    Maybe they still do. Gross!

  5. Northern Monk do some bizarre (usually very good) beers. Aunt Bessie’s Jam Roku Poly pale was an unexpected success.

If you want to look abroad and go even madder (I’m talking frozen pizza and dollar bills in the mash) check out Lervig and Omnipollo breweries, from Norway and Sweden respectively.

  6. I don’t know if they’re still available, but DON’T try the Seabrooks ones. They’re absolutely rancid.

  7. Sounds like you’re after craft beer.

Check out staggeringly Good for some nuts ones (the wrecker range)

Brew York are also a very good shout, vault city as people have mentioned before are very good for sours.

Northern monk do some… Interesting ones

  8. There are lots of beers that I would say taste like I would imagine sweaty ball sack to taste like. Is that weird enough
