Really depends on the relationship with the person, what the last text was, and whether or not the other person is busy.
Set yourself a boundary on this. If you’ve made three or four attempts and they are no longer communicating with you then I think it’s reasonable to end communication. If it’s a one time thing and they are busy then that is understandable.
