Hanlon’s. “Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.”
Gillette Slim adjustable w/Gillette platinum blades… sometimes Feather blades if I’m not in a hurry
Just got a Phillips norelco oneblade electric razor. And by God I love the damn thing. Especially since I’m prone for rashes while shaving.
It makes shaving super quick as well. It isnt a particularly close shave but it does the job to make me presentable.
heated gillette razor
[Henson Shaving](https://hensonshaving.com/products/henson-al13-in-aircraft-aluminum). It’s the only razor I’ve ever used that didn’t give me ingrown hairs.
The razor itself is expensive compared to something like a Gillette, but it uses standard DE replacement blades, which are crazy cheap compared to cartridge-based blades, so you’ll save more than you invest upfront. You can get a pack of 100 DE blades for less than the cost of four Gillette cartridges.
And it’s a better, more comfortable, less irritating shave. Win win win, all around.
Dorco Pace 6. I learned about them in Korea and found out you can get them in the states. Really good value. They private label for a number of the shaving clubs too.
Basic Merkur safety razor, think it’s a 33c or something. For blades I just grab Van der Hagen since they’re the only ones I can reliably find locally, supposedly German made anyway too.
Switched to a safety razor several years ago. I tried a lot of different blades and determined that my preference was for Derby.
Used to be Dollar Shave Club back in the old days (before they made an entire line of beauty products). But went out of country for a few years so I cancelled. Now I’m back and considered resubscribing, but I heard the quality went down drastically.
Gillette Mach 3.
It’s the only one that does cut my face up for what ever reason.
I like a straight razor. I have a really old one I used for years but the prep with sharpening and stropping was a little time consuming so I switched to a stainless steel one with a disposable blade.
I use a straight razor for ALL my shaving. You’ll want a steady hand.

I have a thick beard, that grows quickly. Gillette Fusion gives me the smoothest shave.
Walmart store brand pkg of 5 for 98¢. They work just fine.
Idk about the brand, but I ONLY use safety razors.
Razors with multiple blades irritate me and just don’t feel good
