Men who actually read Playboy for the articles, what was the most interesting article you ever read in Playboy?

  1. I’m not sure I ever picked up a Playboy for the articles… but, Playboy was instrumental in publishing a lot of the early works by my favorite author (Stephen King).

  2. I used to enjoy reading some of the interviews as well as the reviews on different products (non sexual products).

  3. It was about a skip-tracer/private eye and how he found people that didn’t want to be found.

  4. I collect Playboys from the 1960s and the interview with The Beatles is pretty entertaining.

  5. I used to be a big Chuck Palahniuk fan and bought a copy of playboy once because it had an advance copy of his story Guts in it.

  6. Admittedly, the articles were the last object of my attention in Playboy, but two come to mind. An interview with Studs Terkel and the notes that Margot Kidder wrote for her pictorial.

  7. 90% of my Playboy reading was my dads in the 80s and I remember an article talking about the government flooding inner cities with crack; the first time I ever was exposed to a “is it true?” plausible conspiracy theory.
