Any time my girlfriend and I are out in public, we get stares from other people for many reasons. The first reason is being short than her, but she cares about me regardless of my height!
My girlfriend and the relationship we have is amazing, no problems there between her and I!
The issue is when some random person is too close to us in public or tries to say some BS in public, but remains quiet.
Is it because the black person is afraid the cops will be called and criminalize the both of us since we are black or is the person afraid because they don’t want to get charged with a hate crime since I’m with my Asian girlfriend(by proximity)?

People are going to stare and it’s going to wear you down. At some point you just live with it, but it gets more manageable.
What do you mean about someone being too close or saying something, like what exactly are they doing? Why would the police be involved?
