Is it weird to leave a woman my number somewhere she will find it?

I once had a woman leave her number on my car window. After work, I found it, and I thought it was awesome.
As a guy, I think that might be weird. Is it?
I think this woman likes me, too. We definitely connect, or find each other attractive, anyway. I’m not shy, but when I see her, I get so nervous. I always tell myself today is the day I just ask her out, but I always chicken out. I have never had that problem before.
Silly as this may sound, I really think it was love at first sight. And we are both afraid to make the first move.
I just need advice…. I can’t keep up this charade of seeing her everyday and not mustering up anything to work towards possible romance.
