Real-terz
Mostly, I hear it pronounced “real-it-ors.” But I think there’s some national licensing body that stresses “real-tors” as correct. Like, in some sort of trademark-protecting way, maybe?
Real-i-tors
The i in “ick”
I’ve never in my life heard anyone eat “real-it-ors.” Where are you hearing this?
Anything added between “real” and “tors” is erroneous. Just like when people say “ath-uh-lete” when the word is “ath-lete,” or “Tee-uh-wana” when the name is “Tee-hwana.”
I would say Real-it-ors`
Reel-ah-tors
I think it’s a dialect thing, athlete is ath-lete here in my area though.
