I’m going to Vancouver soon for 5 days. My parents friend live there and I don’t really know them. My parents put me in contact with them as they’ve lived in that city for a while and we wanted advice to maybe move there in a few months.
When I talked to them they said they could bring us to Whistler for a day, but the thing is I wanted to do this trip to Whistler only me and my boyfriend. I said it could be nice and I will let them know what are our plans. But I was expecting just a supper to talk with them (I didn’t really want to spend a day with them as we have a huge age gap).
When hanging up they told me to message them when we arrive and to let us know what is the best day for them to bring us to Whistler.
How can I tell them that I’m only interested for a supper with them?
