Has anyone ever lied about having a partner and then later developed a crush on the person they lied to? And now you have to play it off as if you’re seeing someone to the person you like and flirt with?

  2. Never. I’ve only lied about having a partner in social/public situations where I’ve feared for my safety (or have been really annoyed) and they guy would only back off if I lied.

  3. Nope. The closest might be when I was seriously talking to someone (but we weren’t ‘together’ yet) and rejected someone’s advances because of it, but I don’t regret that.

    If this is the situation you’re in, you can just say you’re not together with the fake partner. After all, they were fake to begin with.
