How did you find the courage to apply to/start your first “big girl” job?

1. The piles of student debt were very motivational.

2. Needing money to eat and keep a roof over my head was pretty damn motivational.

3. Just kinda had to. It wasn’t really an option NOT to.

4. It was just the next step. I was graduating from college and needed a job.

   Break it down into manageable steps if you need to. Start with your resume and go from there. See if you can find a resume building workshop near you or online to help build a good one.

5. When I realised living paycheck to paycheck was getting me no where financially.

6. I had waitressed for years because I was a single Mom. My courage stemmed from knowing that I needed a job where I didn’t get s**t on every day before I lost my self respect altogether.
