Men do you prefer a male or female to cut your hair, why?

  1. Makes no difference to me, but every barbershop I’ve been to was exclusively staffed by men.

  2. It really depends on the person’s preference. For me, it doesn’t matter if it’s a male or female barber cutting my hair as long as they have the skills and experience to give me the cut I want. I just want to make sure that the barber has good attention to detail and is able to understand what kind of hairstyle I’m looking for.

  3. I just prefer they actually know how to cut fuckin hair. I don’t care about any of the other details

  4. Gay male. Idk why, I feel like they’d get it right. I may have not met the right female, but they want to go off and do their own thing

  5. I’m sure that there is no difference in quality, but I’d prefer a woman because I don’t like being touched by men.

  6. I have no preference, I just get told if it looks good by my wife when I get home. I can’t even tell if I have a good haircut.

  7. Female. I don’t think guys listen to me when I tell them how I want my hair cut. Been going to same woman for 15 years.

  8. I have a female barber. I find women easier to converse with. When a dude cuts my hair, there’s usually awkward silence.

  9. It really comes down to their style or where they beat specialize. Otherwise, I don’t particularly care. As someone who is actually very cautious with getting their hair cut, it’s just hair at the end of the day and it’ll grow back

  10. My dad once asked me why I go to a beauty shop to get my hair cut. I told him I don’t get off in a guy running his fingers thru my hair. He never asked again

  11. Men, specifically there is one men’s barbershop that I pretty much exclusively go to for the last 10 years or so, with the exception of emergencies when I can’t drive out there.

  12. I have a female barber that knows what I want. I go there and she’s like “the usual?”. I’ll never go anywhere else.

  13. I usually cut my own hair, but if I go to a salon, I don’t care at all who it is as long as they stay silent. There is nothing worse than being cut by and obsessive chatter mouth, no matter which gender.

  14. I prefer a skilled barber. Although, at BCT there was this huge older black man with the gentlest voice in the entire world. He would rest your head on his stomach and hum while he cut your hair. Best 60 seconds ever

  15. frankly, I will always choose a lesbian to cut my hair. no one does men’s haircuts better.

  16. I don’t think there’s a difference. In my case, a female cuts my hair, but I think a man could do the same haircut.

  17. I don’t care, I will take the first barber or stylist that is open at whatever place I get my haircut this time.

  18. I’ve had equally great experiences with both. But males tend to just not talk and I like that best

  19. I prefer someone who can give me a good haircut, and not want to chat all the time.

  20. I never had a problem with either doing my hair as long as they took the time to give advice and listen while focusing on giving me the best look. The only problems I had were with people that didn’t want to be there doing their jobs.
