(Apologies for bad grammar trying to write this up quick before my work break ends)
So as the title says I’m thinking of asking out my best mate, to put a bit of context into the situation me and her have been in a situationship for about 3 months now and she wants to take things to the next stage, before our situationship we had been friends for about a year.

I should clarify I have no problem with people living there life this way it’s just not a life style I like for myself, I’ve been to many party’s and was a pretty social guy in high school so I was given many opportunities in the past but I always rejected. I think part of it came from religious trauma but I don’t know I was never into casual hookups and was just looking for a generally honest girl.
The problem I’m facing is my best friend is a great person to talk to, confident, charismatic and super thoughtful but it just hurts to know she’s lived that lifestyle with a lot of people in her day to day life.
I should point out this girl was my first everything.
The thing is I really like her and it’s the main reason I’ve kept the sitationship going because I like going on dates with her and hanging out with her I just want to get over this feeling and move forward how can I?
