I’d rather that over something materialistic, he looks great both ways but as a present it would be nice to see a fresh fade on him. How do I ask him in a respectful way without coming off as a b***? lol

  1. Oh this is tough. Especially without knowing him. But it’s a whole conversation. I think if you acknowledge that it’s a big ask for a start that would help. And that it’s for a special occasion.

    There are all sorts of ways to show you care for someone, and grooming and dressing nicely is one way to do that. It seems like this is applicable to you, you’re someone who takes this as a sign of care toward you and you could explain that to him. Make it about your own love language rather than his lack of action. Most likely, he’ll be happy to learn this about you and have a way of making you happy.

  3. Tell him what you would like. Don’t get offended if he asks you to wear something lacy and sexy on *his* birthday.
