I got to know her online, I know who her irl best friend is. She says I help just by talking to her but I know no one in her actual life, I can’t do much. She doesn’t want her best friend to know but should I tell her anyways?

I feel guilty keeping it to myself, what if something happens.

  1. Yes I think you should, if she is quite serious about it. Like if my child or a good friend of mine was suicidal I would definitely want to know.

  2. If you truly believe that your online friend would do it, you have to tell.

    But make sure it’s a legit threat, because otherwise you’re just breaking your friend’s trust for no reason.
