Long story short, my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and have lived together for 2 of them. I am a full-time student at a college almost 2 hours away where I attend in person M-F. My boyfriend is at a technical school about an hour away from where we live. I work 3 days a week as a baby sitter as it’s what fits my schedule, and make 100$/day that i work. Outside of class I spend a decent amount of time working on homework and projects as my classes are art-based. I am also applying to grad schools.
my bf works as a server 4 nights a week and makes significantly better pay than i do. because of his career path, he also has no homework outside of school. we split house costs equally.
today, we got into an argument about the fact that I am broke all time and can’t afford to even buy us breakfast and should be working more, even though I literally don’t have the time. he called me lazy. which pissed me off because i’m working so hard to graduate school and also apply to other schools to further my education. I find him to be so dismissive of all the hard work I do because he had to spot me $10 or pays for dates. I am seriously thinking about leaving him, but don’t know if this is the right move or if i’m in the wrong .
