College student (autistic introvert)

I am a college student that transferred from a community college in NYC I am junior in computer science. I go to college in the city. I am having trouble making friends I had this problem since middle school. I am always quiet and trouble talking to people. I am always self conscious around other people. I am insecure of it that I barely leave my house and lack a personality in generaI. I feel guilty inside and I don’t know what to do. I am looking into clubs that my college offers but nothing seems to stick out.
It’s pretty hard for me to leave my comfort zone as I am trying to figure out what groups suit me. My goal is to try have a diverse friend group and to maybe feel less lonely in my life.
