A new pair everyday? Then you guys wash all on the weekends? What if you wore socks for just two hours a day in your shoes and then returned home. Would you put the same ones on the next day?

  1. Anytime I take a sock off it gets washed. 15 minutes or 8 hrs. Once off never back on until washed

  2. Daily-ish

Once I take my socks off, I will not put the dirty pair back on, so if something happens where I take my socks off and then have to go back out, I’ll use two pairs that day.

  3. Daily. Unless I’ve been working out or put all day in shoes and then I’ll change them twice.

  4. I buy lots of socks, all the same from Costco and share them with my son. I wash them and toss them in a drawer unmatched and we each just grab two and go whenever we need. Once off, they go in the laundry.

  5. Every day. I wear a pair for running and working out every morning and throw them in the laundry when I’m done. Then I put on a different pair to wear to work. At the end of the day, I take those off and throw them in the laundry. We do laundry at least once a week, so, yeah, they’re getting washed all the time

  6. Daily. I work on my feet a lot and drive a lot too so wouldn’t cross my mind to re-use the next day.

    Same for pants.

  7. Once I take my socks off, then I am not putting on that now dirty pair. I will just grab a clean pair. It isn’t something i put much thought into, its something that I do.

  8. Mostly every day. If I threw on a new pair of socks after an evening shower because I was particularly chilly, I’d likely put them back on in the morning.

If I put shoes on and went out for a few hours, I’d likely retire them to the dirty laundry.

  9. Once a week or two, faster if I somehow get them soaking wet, like if I accidentally step into a deeper-than-it-looks puddle or something.

  10. After work or the gym I consider them dirty and put them in the hamper once home. If I’m just having a chill day, I’ll use a single pair throughout the day. How breathable your shoes are can drastically change how important it is to change them though.

  11. Fresh socks, at least twice a day.

I put on socks in the morning. If I work, or otherwise go out, it’s fresh socks when I get back. It I go out three times that day, you best believe I’m using three pairs of socks. I got to the in-laws for a weekend, I’m brining ten pairs of socks.

    The Army has curses me.

  12. Everyday, unless I haven’t showered, then I’ll put back on the old pair until I do.

  13. Once or twice a week. I’m lucky to not have smelly bacteria in my feet.

To be fair: when at home, I rarely use socks except merino wool socks sometimes during winter.
