My boyfriend (22M) and I (20F) have been dating for almost three years. We have been through a lot together (my most recent round of residential treatment for an eating disorder, a year and a half of long distance, healthy arguments and boundary setting). I am certain he is the one I want to be with for the rest of my life. I graduate in Spring 2024 and plan on going to grad school (2 1/2 years long) in my hometown and living with my bf (we are doing long distance until I graduate undergrad). When is too early to get engaged based on my circumstances? I always said I would wait until after grad school or age 27 but for some reason I am wavering.

Don’t get engaged until you’re at least 25. Oh, and uh, I don’t see you mentioning kids here but make sure you guys are in the same page there when you do. Also live together.
