If my gfs friend is living with us and we both wanna do it I’m just gonna be honest about it next time
Get caught, break my gfs heart, the friend leaves, and later my gf tells me she’s been having fantasies about me pounding other chicks as she watches and maybe I could had a great three-way relationship if we didn’t sneak around and just talked to her about it
I let her slam a fucking door in my face and act like she was the victim, because I felt the need to be the Good Boyfriend. I’m not looking to become cruel, but I won’t let these things fester until they pop again.
I’m a terrible debater and hate being put on the spot.
I would basically let one of my ex’s “win” every fight / argument because I didn’t want to fight and just wanted to chill.
Didn’t realize that I was setting a precedent for her to “walk all over me”.
Sometimes, when I’m excited about a topic or know something about it, I’ll explain it or discuss it; what I think is more of a “focus” others have told me can at times come across as patronizing or mansplaining, especially when they know just as much, if not more, than me. It’s not intentional, nor do I assume I know better (I have no problem admitting when others have greater expertise than I do), but it can come across that way.
I’m much more aware of this now and improved, thankfully I’ve had friends and exes tell me this bluntly yet kindly.
