I’m a bottom [M] and already have pretty weak knee and hip joints due to riding horses my whole life. Thanks to cold weather they’ve been worse and mixed with my partner [M] and I having sex a lot more often there’s been considerable strain on them and it makes sex uncomfortable at points.

We’re pretty frequent missionary and cowgirl users and those can definitely be hard on those bits. What are some good positions to try and take pressure off those points without breaking our backs trying to get into them?

And if there are any other reccomendation on ways to relieve the hip and knee discomfort I would love to hear! Thanks

  1. I don’t have any experience as the receiver in sex as a straight male but I assume a position like prone bone would be good? It’s basically just lying down on your stomach is all and you can add pillows underneath your stomach as well to take pressure off those areas.

    Usually weak joints can be helped by building muscle in those areas and maintaining flexibility. Look into strengthening your hips/glutes with weight training. Knees are a bit more difficult to strength train for but you can target your calves, hamstrings and quads as well for this. Really just increasing the strength/muscle of your legs should do the trick.
