taking a few deep breaths can help calm your body and reduce the physical symptoms of anxiety. If yk that ur going to be in a situation that makes you anxious, try to prepare for it. Like if you know you’ll be taking a test, study in advance. Anxiety often comes with negative thoughts. Try to challenge those thoughts and replace them with more positive and realistic ones.
Don’t beat yourself up over it. I’m sure your friend doesn’t think anything less of you. I agree with finding ways to calm yourself of anxiety. And just remember that things like this won’t matter in the long run. Everyone does embarrassing things from time to time. You did not make the situation worse.
