Does your country have different versions of Push/Pull door signs other than a translation?

1. I was trying to think of some example I’ve seen recently, but couldn’t think of any. Maybe they’re being phased out? I think they usually say PUSH/PULL, but in Swedish, so *TRYCK*/*DRA*(*G* if older).

3. Sort of, but not really. In Greek there’s two pairs of words that translate to push and pull. Ωθήστε and έλξατε are very archaic but preferred for signs, but you often see the contemporary verbs σπρώξτε and τραβήξτε. Rarely, you see signs with both, because to be fair, the archaic verbs do take a bit longer to parse.

4. Somehow we still use the old conservative language’s (see katharevousa) instead of the common terms we use in our daily lives. Ie it is “Ελξατε/Ωθησατε” instead of “Τραβηξτε/Σπρωξτε” :p
