Hello. I would like to know is it possible for a woman to be allergic to some kinds of condoms or lubricant of the condoms?

Also. Do antibiotics for these allergies may result in side effects that make women don’t want to have sex? Dry?

Note: I am saying if something like this is possible. Since, it is my first time hearing about this and I want to confirm.

Thanks.

  1. Yes

Latex allergies are a thing and the ingredients in some lubes and on some condoms can cause irritation. It depends on the woman.

It’s worth buying different ones and seeing if that helps.

Edit: I wouldn’t recommend taking antibiotics or medication for that regularly and still using the products causing the issue. Find ones that don’t cause an allergic reaction.

  2. I react to most condoms and lubes, except Skyn condoms and so far most hypoallergenic lubes.

I can cope with sex using these things, but I got thrush and bv many many many times before I switched.

  3. I got thrush from antibiotics and I’m a guy. It turns out that’s a side effect of certain antibiotics that doesn’t seem to be mentioned to men…
