This might be a difficult concept to comprehend to some but… people got lives to attend to. They may be busy with more important things to do than answering to their needy friends. Doesn’t mean they don’t consider you a friend. Also often times life gets really overwhelming and you get zero energy to be social, even via texting. Or sometimes they just simply aren’t interested in being your friends and that’s absolutely fine. You gotta learn to give people space and move on when they don’t come back to you.
