Tia for reading! Had been chatting 24/7 to this super cute funny guy. The first I’ve had real interest in in 6/7 years. He was really keen on me but I messed it up initially as I was meant to meet him then couldn’t make it. He was annoyed and quite upset (betrayed?) and didn’t speak to me for a week but then we started talking and laughing again and he multiple times asked to meet again and I said yes. I messaged again the next day and said ‘so what’s the meeting plan’ and he completely shut me down with ‘I’m too busy for the next few weeks it’s not possible’ erm…. 12 hours before he was desperate to meet?
I said I’ve had enough of this mind changing and left it as that and haven’t spoke since. I’m not sure what this guys playing at…. I really like him and he seemed to me at first so I don’t understand. We are not young (32/38) and he is an ex alcoholic/depressive which I wonder if it has some connection to his actions, which I’ve only learnt after we stopped talking
I really don’t want to give up on him but also I don’t want to chase him if he doesn’t want me too…..

If I were to assume the worst thing, he’s immature and trying to get back at you.
If I were to assume the best intentions, he’s not a good communicator.
Logically, him asking you to meet multiple times and shutting you down after screams that he’s unstable.
