Still not too comfortable with sex, a penis in my vagina. My boyfriend and i tried something new while he was fingering me, putting a couple of fingers in. he only was two knuckles deep, an inch and a half inside of me. i went to wipe after, and i had some blood on my towel. Is the hymen that low? or is it just some irritation down there. PS i also was kinda unsure if i was spotting today, but i’m no where near my period.

The hymen is usually inch or so inside the opening of the vagina. But hymens very often do not tear. It’s more like stretching. Then they can heal and go back to the way they were. A lot of people think of a hymen as something that goes away the first time you have sex, but that’s just not the case.
